In an adaptation of Tolstoy’s short story Master and Man, supercilious property developer Basil (Huston) and hired chauffeur Nick (Jacobs) get lost in snowy Colorado. Rose’s fourth Tolstoy adaptation and diminishing returns have set in; Jacobs’ mediocre screenplay doesn’t help. Disappointing.
