Misplaced mother love leads to a desperate crime.
A woman walks out of a maternity ward with a baby. She spends the following days meticulously taking care of the newborn, feeding him and singing him lullabies. She’s not the baby’s mother, however, but a kidnapper. Arrested and put on trial, she refuses to speak a word in her defence… An austere, almost classical telling of a tragedy that could have happened anywhere and anytime - and not just in a society in deep crisis like Greece today.
