It's a familiar thriller setup: Salvo (Bakri) is a hired killer who falls in love with Rita (Serraiocco), the blind sister of one of his targets. The action sequences are masterly and Serraiocco is especially effective, but the titular character is too firmly established as blank and merciless for his later development to be plausible.
