A father and son road trip from Montana to Nebraska.
This film is not currently showing in cinemas.
Bruce Dern is superb as the tempestuously grumpy old man in Missouri, who is convinced he has won a million dollars on the lottery and is determined to get to Lincoln, Nebraska to claim it, much to the exasperation of his long suffering wife and sons, who try to explain it is just an advertising con. He is even prepared to walk it if necessary. Finally, his son agrees to drive him there, partly to humour him, partly just to spend some time with him. What results is a wonderfully witty, bitter sweet road movie laced with terrific comedy.
