From Skip to Screen: The Lost Films of Peter Sellers
  • 1950

Three long-unseen 1950s comedy shorts starring Peter Sellers, including two that were thought to have been completely lost. In 1990, while helping to clear out former film offices in Park Lane, Robert Farrow came across a number of film cans in a skip. He discovered the films featured the legendary comedian but found little interest in them until he contacted Southsea Film Festival last year. Dearth of a Salesman and Insomnia is Good for You (the films discovered by Farrow) will be screened alongside Cold Comfort.
