After a disastrous blind date, single parents Jim (Sandler) and Lauren (Barrymore) are displeased to re-encounter each other with their respective families on holiday; but soon they start to like each other. Despite the stars' undoubted chemistry and good performance from the kids, some uncomfortable stereotyping makes it excruciating to watch.
