Nic (Thwaites) is a student with muscular dystrophy whose relationship with girlfriend Haley (Cooke) is under stress; then he wakes up in a sinister hospital run by Dr Wallace Damon (Fishburne). With excellent performances and a sparing use of effects, this disconcertingly off-kilter sci-fi flick announces writer/director Eubank as a remarkable talent.
