Documentary about the 20 Feb 2014 protests in Kiev's Maidan Nezalezhnosti (Independence Square), in which over 50 people died. Loznitsa provides few captions and no talking heads offering context or analysis, but fixes the camera at various points round the square. The result is slow, disorienting and brilliant, as the protest changes from peaceful occupation to violent confrontation.
