Evan Lake (Cage) is a deskbound CIA veteran who sets out with protégé Milton Schultz (Yelchin) to get revenge on his terrorist nemesis from twenty years earlier (Karim). Pedestrian cloak-and-dagger yarn which was reportedly butchered in post-production, with compelling but frustrating glimpses of the much more interesting film that Schrader and Cage intended to make.
