Sebastian (Becker) is struggling to cope with his metamorphosis into Ellie, the girl he must be; Andreas (Malmborg) is straight but deeply attracted to Sebastian/Ellie. Bold and authentic Swedish LGBT drama, with both actors doing fine work, but Bergsmark's direction is so heavy-handed and pretentious and his dialogue so overwrought that it's likely to alienate those who most need to see it.
