Making Waves

  • 2015

Nearly 40 years after the 1976 Race Relations Act, this documentary tells the life stories of young British black citizens growing up in Nottingham and Leicester. The film features 13 people who talk candidly about their experience of growing up black in Britain, and asks whether the political organising of one generation has had a positive impact on the next.
