This home invasion thriller sees Reeves play devoted husband and father Evan Webber, who gets in a little too deep when two suspiciously perky girls, Bel (de Armas) and Genesis (Izzo) appear on the scene. Though Reeves' role makes good use of his likeable screen presence, Knock Knock brings Keanu back to earth in unceremonious fashion. The film at least feeds on the self-deprecating humour that laced his performances in The Matrix and Speed, and in the end, his game performance provides this grubby effort with an undeserved touch of class.
