Emily (Schilling) and Alex (Scott), new to LA, go to dinner with confident Kurt (Schwartzman), and his wife (Godrèche); after the kids have been put to bed, things turn awkwardly fruity. Painfully funny and brilliantly performed, forcing the audience and the central duo through a gauntlet of sometimes spectacular excruciation; deliciously squirm-inducing, if somewhat superficial.
