The Forbidden Room

- 2015
- France
- 2h 10min
- Directed by: Guy Maddin
- Cast: Geraldine Chaplin, Mathieu Amalric, Roy Dupuis, Maria de Medeiros
Fluid and delirious sort-of-anthology film in which story springs from story, including a bunch of trapped submariners, a man (Kier) who'll do anything to curb his desire to pinch women's bottoms, a lumberjack (Dupuis) who sets out to rescue a maiden (Furey) and much more. Archaic and innovative, silly and searing, it's like nothing else.
