Paris, 1899: policeman Jean (Rahim) goes undercover to investigate a group of anarchists, convincing their leader Elisée (Arlaud) of his good intentions, but also falling for Elisée's girlfriend Judith. Atmospheric, well-crafted and rather disappointing period piece, with some interesting musical choices but ultimately predictable.
