Documentary about the first of the great rock chicks, Janis Joplin, portraying the singer as a nice, kindhearted, misfit girl who was bullied for her outspoken ideas and looks and never got over it. Her electrifying presence, influence and legacy are apparent and while not the most groundbreaking music bio-doc, it's worth checking out.
