School friends George (Lima) and Laetitia (Broom) hook up with two boys over the course of a stiflingly hot summer in Biarritz. Steamy drama that skilfully evokes a mood of carefree teenage sexuality, but the ending is somewhat rushed; the bold young cast are on fire, however.

Eva Husson’s ironic, sun-kissed salute to teen spirit evokes the worlds of Larry Clark and Sofia Coppola as it captures a dreamy Biarritz summer of sex, seduction and consequences, and sets it to a cool soundtrack of synth pop from White Sea. George (Marilyn Lima) and her friend Laetitia (Daisy Broom) are happy to spend the summer lazing by the pool and indulging the advances of desperately horny bad boys like Alex (Finnegan Oldfield). The fearless George is the one who decides to up the ante by turning tame games of Spin the Bottle and Truth or Dare into something much wilder and much more daring. A feverish, troubling summer of love.
