Documentarian Moore personally invades European countries (and Tunisia) in search of what America needs, dropping his sometimes hectoring tone for something funnier and more revealing, as each nation turns out to do something better than America: Norway's prison system, France's school meals, Tunisia's women's rights legislation, etc. Preaching to the choir it may be, but it's still entertaining and stimulating.

Michael Moore is preaching to the choir but his genial latest contains plenty of food for thought

Documentarian Michael Moore can come across as smugly self-righteous and hectoring in his ongoing mission to tell America what it is doing wrong. This time he adopts a light, genial tone – from the tongue-in-cheek opening to the optimistic postscript.
