Gérard (Dépardieu) and Isabelle (Huppert) are two famous French actors, long-estranged parents of an adult son, who reunite after his death to follow a strange set of directions he left for them. Shambling and under-realised two-hander which makes the most of its marvellous leads and is fitfully insightful about family, guilt and intimacy.
