Eloise McGarry (Kendrick) is invited to a wedding after being relieved of her duties as maid of honour and dumped by the best man. Despite this, she decides to go to the wedding anyway only to discover that she has been seated at the dreaded Table 19, meant for guests that the hosts hoped wouldn't attend. Despite the efforts of rom-com superstar Kendrick and some imaginative casting elsewhere, the film doesn't quite manage to conquer the mediocrity of the storyline and its overall delivery.
