Lars is a sweet little polar bear who wants to be friends with everyone, including Robbie the seal. After convincing the other bears to stop eating seals and feed on fish instead, he is faced with a dilemma when the fish run out and the seals are about to become lunch again. Based on the storybooks by Hans De Beer, the arctic setting of this animated film creates a similar magical atmosphere to that of 'The Snowman'. A cute and slushy story for young children, providing a few light-hearted laughs.
