Documentary about a group therapy session in California’s Folsom State Prison; twice a year, members of the public are allowed to join prisoners and the film follows three men from one session. Filmmakers McLeary and Aldous clearly earned the mens’ trust, in an acutely observed and emotional journey about vulnerability and masculinity.
