Family drama set among a close-knit community of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Oldham. Ivanna (Finneran) is a single mother raising two daughters in accordance with her religious beliefs. When her elder daughter Luisa (Parkinson) begins to have doubts, Ivanna decides to match her youngest (Wright) to a church elder. Finneran is magnificent in this incendiary yet meticulously measured drama about the difficulties of reconciling the requirements of family and faith.
