In the Brazilian favelas, a trio of teenagers (Tevez, Weinstein and Luis) try to solve a mystery. Curtis' script and Daldry's simplistic and saccharine approach make the film hopeful, which is fine, but also less moving and honest than it could be; it's also excessively long.
